Kyler Syracuse is a 2027 C/RHP/UT with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Shepherd, TX who attends Shepherd. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium and open stance with a high hand load and a big leg raise timer, swings hard and creates some bat speed, will get out of control at times, best working gap to gap, has some projection with the bat with additional strength and adjustments. 6.58 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a side saddle stance, tends to move into the right hander's box when throwing and can improve his direction, arm works well and makes accurate throws, tends to transfer low. Also worked out in the infield and outfield, with his speed and arm has a chance to be a true utility player depending on how he grows and his team, would be solid in center field especially. Good student.
