Jonathan J. Rodriguez is a 2026 2B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from West Palm Beach, FL who attends Piper. Tall and lean athletic build with lots of projection remaining. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright and slightly open stance with a coiled upper half load, has a line drive swing that is short to the ball with good extension through contact, swing projects with more strength, showed his power potential with a hard pulled game home run. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, moves well and has athletic actions, has a good glove, good arm strength for second base, has the tools to play some shortstop as well. Also worked out in outfield. Took a turn on the mound, has a drop and drive delivery from a side step start, full arm action with an extended 3/4's release, some effort on release. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, also threw a short slider with some tightness and a change up with good arm speed but a lower arm slot. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
