Carter Radics is a 2029 RHP/C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Peachtree Corners, GA who attends Wesleyan. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. Works from a side step delivery with a belt high leg raise and a full arm takeaway to a high 3/4's arm slot, athletic actions down the mound and through release. Fastball topped out at 90 mph and comes out of his hand easy and got on hitters well. Slider was his best pitch with power and feel, sharp biting action along with some power depth, swing and miss type pitch. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a simple and short load and swing, has present bat speed and more juice than his age/size would indicate, ball comes off easy with big carry, looking to pull and drive the ball. 6.62 runner in the sixty. Worked out in both the outfield and behind the plate and has prospect tools at both positions. Was aggressive to the ball in the outfield and showed his arm strength from a short and clean arm action, very accurate on-line throws. Has athletic actions behind the plate with big arm strength, quick out of his crouch. Has all the tools, big question will be how much he grows. Good student.
