Logan Dowell is a 2022 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Mount Airy, NC who attends Mount Airy. Big and strong young build with room for more strength in the future. Switch-hitter, has a much better present swing from the left side with better bat speed, loose and fluid through the ball with some ability to turn the barrel and use his strength, right handed swing is slower and more rotational with limited lower half use and flow. 8.10 runner, has nice athletic actions at first base with polished footwork and accurate throws, will be an asset on defense. Also took a turn on the mound, high 3/4's arm slot with a loose arm out front, still developing feel for consistency in his release point. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, flashed quality on a big sweeping slider when he was out front on it. Good student.
