Nicolas Santos is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Atascocita High School. Long, lean athletic build with present strength and more room to add muscularity. Ran the 60-yard dash in a solid 7.06 seconds. Primary position catcher, starting with a bit of a high initial stance, showing solid footwork and gaining ground throughout the process. Quick, secure glove work to good midline transfer with a longer arm path. Arm showed carry and accuracy up to 74 mph and a pop-time best 2.02 seconds. Right handed hitter, working from an open stance in his base well and employing high handset and back elbow. Gap to gap approach with intent to do damage. Nice hand strength at impact with some extension and emerging power with more to come. Elite performer in the classroom as well.
