Brooks McKee is a 2030 SS/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Lake Creek. Long and lean young athletic build with some wiry strength and more to come. 6.76 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well on feet and glove works out front, long arm action through the back and shows big carry across the diamond. Plays back on the ball in the outfield and can get additional lower half going, full arm path and ball comes out cleanly from hand, shows accuracy to the intended base. Also pitched, side step into a medium height leg-lift, easy arm action with whip working to a three-quarters release point. Controlled operation, topped out at 85 mph and filled up the zone; spun a slider at 75 mph and it played well off of the heater. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and online operation; compact and linear stroke through the zone. Lived on the barrel throughout live action, picked up a couple of doubles. Middle and pull side parts of the field with low line drive carry coming off. Nice tools across the board to build upon. Selected to play in the 2026 Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.
