Tanner Ball is a 2028 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Houston Christian. Big and strong athletic build. Works from a full wind up with a rock back start and a coiled leg raise over the rubber, deeper arm path to an extended 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front that can be lengthened in the future, has lots more velocity in his legs and lower half. Fastball topped out at 91 mph and was mostly straight, change up was his better secondary pitch with some arm speed and fading action. Still developing feel for spinning the ball. Big arm talent who will benefit from coaching and repetitions. 7.22 runner in the sixty. Secondary first baseman on defense, has athletic actions with good lower half actions and quick turns, made accurate strong throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a low and busy hand load, rushed leg raise timer, has some strength in his hands but needs to develop timing consistency and more lower half use. Good student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
