Tripp Riley is a 2028 RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Lake Creek. Long and lean high waisted build with lots of physical projection remaining. Has a short and abbreviated wind up with a loose and easy arm action, well paced and refined mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with plenty of arm side running life, has been up to 84 at PG tournaments this summer, maintained his velocity well and threw consistent strikes with his fastball. Threw a hard curveball with some two-plane break and depth and a very nice change up that worked well against both right handed and left handed hitters, both secondaries were quality pitches that he mixed well and threw for strikes. 7.21 runner in the sixty. Secondary third baseman on defense, has solid infield actions and showed his athleticism well fielding and throwing the ball. Right handed hitter, gets the bat into the zone early with some uphill plane, pull to mid field contact. Has a chance on the mound as he continues to get stronger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
