Denton Lord is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 160 lb. frame from Marianna, FL who attends Marianna. He has a large frame and a lanky build with plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.45 seconds. Primary pitcher that has a knee-to-chest leg kick and a slow delivery that explodes on release. He has a long arm action and fires from a high 3/4 arm slot with a loose, whippy arm. His fastball is heavy with some arm side run. His curveball is loose with nice depth and will get sharper with development. His changeup is considerably slower than his fastball and shows a little depth. Secondary first baseman that moves well around the bag and has a clean glove. He gets the ball out quickly and on target. Offensively, he starts with high hands and a high back elbow. Uses a hanging leg kick for timing. He has a short swing with quick hands and is able to generate nice pop to the pull side of the field. More power will come as he continues to fill out and get stronger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
