2025 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase
Brady Helms is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hartford, WI who attends Hartford Union. A medium frame and athletic build. Plenty of projection remaining throughout. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who moved well, working to the ball. He gets the glove down well, with a quicker exchange and clean release. Shorter and compact through the back with a feel for different arm slots. He had good accuracy to first base working across the diamond, with good arm strength at 83 mph. He had a feel for the backhand. Athletic actions on the infield. Also worked out in the outfield with a feel to field it out in front, showing good active feet working to it. He comes through it well, shuffling into throws, with a clean gather and a longer arm action through release. He had some looseness and whip to the arm with throws at 84 mph during his round. He was quick to release and showed projectable actions. A right-handed hitter who had a balanced stance an athletic setup. He had a shorter stroke with a quick path to contact and really quick hands. He was able to deliver the barrel well, turn the hips through it well, and flash good impact. He stayed behind the ball well and was able to drive the ball gap-to-gap during his round of BP swings. He managed an 81 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. He also managed 3 barrels in-game as well, consistently living on the barrel and doing damage. Excellent student. Named to 2025 Midwest Indoor TP List.
