Roy Kim is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Works from an abbreviated windup from the third base side of the rubber, gets coiled well, hides the ball effectively and has deception, lower 3/4's arm slot. Has feel for three pitches and works quickly while throwing lots of strikes. Fastball topped out at 86 mph and was thrown to both sides of the plate. Showed a sweeping slider with good spin and depth along with a fading change up. Polished southpaw with a starter's profile. Excellent student.
