Angel Gonzalez is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-3 125 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Smaller young build with some strength for his size. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, aggressive to the ball and has athletic actions in his transitions, arm strength has notably improved, makes on line accurate throws with nice carry, is the type of athlete who would be playing middle infield if he was right handed. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an inward toe tap trigger, has quick hands and gets the barrel into the zone well, middle of the field line drive contact. Also pitched, works from a full and fluid delivery with a short stride out front and an extended 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well and shows some feel for pitching. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Has feel for adding and subtracting for his breaking ball and turns over his change up well while mixing his pitches effectively.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
