Bek Ramer is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Thompsons Station, TN who attends Brentwood Academy. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, comes to get the ball well, longer arm action with a low 3/4's arm slot, has good raw arm strength, throws tends to tail with his release slot but were accurate. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a turned in front hip, rotational swing, tends to open early and create a longer swing path, mostly pull side contact. Took a turn on the mound worked from the stretch with a medium length arm action to a low 3/4's arm slot, simple delivery mechanics. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with consistent run and sink that created lots of ground ball contact. Sweeping soft slider was released from a slightly higher arm slot. Change up was a solid pitch and could have been used more often. Good student.
