Lucas Arnold is a 2029 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Liberty Christian. Tall and lean athletic build. 6.96 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense who has two-way potential on the mound. 6.96 runner in the sixty. Has a long and loose arm action in the infield, gets on top well when set and lower his arm slot well on the move, will need to continue to work on his lower half agility and quickness for third base. Right handed hitter, has loose hands and swings hard, creates solid bat speed and some jump off the barrel, projects power as he continues to mature physically. Works from the stretch from the first base side with a full arm swing to a high 3/4's arm slot, gets downhill and over his front side well, simple and repeatable mechanics. Had a quick and effective inning with a fastball that topped out at 88 mph to go with a low 70's curveball with some tightness and depth. Excellent student.
