Devan Johnson is a 2022 OF/ with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Albuquerque Academy. Ran a 6.59 60 yard dash. Projectable frame and his run tool is very advanced and a huge part of his game. Quick twitch player that is solid on the base paths. Great range in the outfield and can cover some serious ground. Quick arm with plenty of arm strength and keeps throws low. Spread out stance and shifts well in the box. Has a slight hand hitch with good batspeed. Has some really solid power to pullside and shows solid strength to it. Swing stays mostly compact. The power potential here is exciting and you can project even more power here when he fills out. Posted an exit velocity of 94 in BP.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
