Eli Benjamin is a 2029 SS/RHP/UT with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Locust Grove, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Tall and slender athletic build with lots of room and time to fill in and get stronger. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, lateral range to both sides with quick release from a low slot. Game-like actions with longer release in the hole. Worked through the ball in the outfield with athletic look and inline momentum into throws. Right knee-down stance on throws behind the plate. Clean exchange gaining ground with arm strength from high slot on throws. Right-handed hitter, even base with a lift and replace trigger. Inside-out swing path using the middle of the field. Developing strength att impact with lean frame that projects to increase future impact. Good student.
