Tyler Zimmerman is a 2026 C/RHP/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Long and lean athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide stance with a quick and short leg lift trigger, big barrel wrap to start his swing. Rotational upper body swing, swings hard and works to create some barrel whip through the zone, flashed some jump when he was timed up and out front, will keep improving as he develops more hand strength and bat speed. 8.02 runner in the sixty. Has good arm strength behind the plate, tends to stand to throw with limited lower half gain through release. Also plays the outfield. Took a turn on the mound, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, worked mostly to the glove side, tends to slow his arm and body on a soft curveball.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
