Dolan Maher is a 2026 C/UT with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Torrey Pines. Features a medium-sized frame with some lean strength. Behind the plate during throwdowns, operated from a knee down set up. Showed adv. catch/throw ability. Quick lower half that gains ground and works with good direction. Fast/compact exchange that happens at the upper chest and works to a quick release. Above avg. arm strength for his level where he gets off throws with easy effort with 4/5 being on the bag. Receiving/blocking showed well in-game. At the plate, operates form a medium base and uses a rhythmic leg lift trigger that works in sync with hands. Path works more short-to-long with hands/barrel staying inside it and through it. Maintains balance by staying behind it well. Present kick-back mover with the lower half. Stayed into the gaps with LDs the majority of his round. Quality bat speed that is still developing. Excellent student. Named to 2024 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
