Cam Rakaczewski is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Greencastle, PA who attends Greencastle-Antrim. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lena build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves around well on feet with deliberate tempo and longer strides on the approach, accelerates well into release, lower slot on throws with lots of arm speed, shows softness to hands, up to 88 mph across the diamond with accuracy across the diamond. Also pitched, full wind up on the mound with pace and fluidity, moving parts but loose and easy arm action working to a three-quarters release point. Incorporates lower half well coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, big running life to the arm side and attacked hitters. Slurvey shape to the breaker with two-plane action, able to manipulate the shape and lands for strikes. Kills spin on the changeup very well, 1100s on the RPM at 73 mph with depth and heavy fading life. High upside on mound. Right-handed hitter, begins with an upright and even stance in the box with a high and tight hand set; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Compact stroke through the zone from launch and gets it through on time, looseness to it and works on a linear plane. Creates some leverage out front and torque through lower half, occasionally gets to front side early. Nice tools across the board to build upon moving forward. Excellent student. Named to the 14u Mid-Atlantic All-State Games Top Prospect List.
