Lucas Scott is a 2023 SS/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Long Beach Poly. Features a lanky build with room to add. Ran a 6.99 60-yard. Flashed athleticism throughout infield drills. Showcased fairly clean glove actions that work through hops when under control. Improving body control throughout fielding action would allow for ball to be caught more consistency. Utilizes short arm action to generate solid arm strength across the diamond. Effort within throwing motion slightly hinders accuracy on throws. Utilizes a narrow, square setup with hands high at the head. Moderate leg kick helps gather weight on the backside. Stays balanced throughout direct stroke. Looks to damaging when swinging. Flashed some pullside power throughout BP round. Power should only increase as strength is added to the frame. Excellent student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
