Kyle Dobrie is a 2021 OF/1B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Mastic, NY who attends William Floyd. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.07 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, quick transfer and works on top of throws, arm strength will continue to improve, full arm action through the back, shows quickness to arm action. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, does a nice job of getting closed moving into contact. Looseness to hands with a long path through the zone, lowers hands at start of swing, works on a mostly linear plane. Occasional lift, comfort working to pull and middle parts of field, can incorporate additional lower half, steady line drive contact coming off.
