Daniel Fernandez is a 2030 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Tampa, FL. Tall and lean very athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.27 runner in the sixty. On the mound, worked from a full windup with a coiled belt-high leg lift and low three-quarter slot. Fastball worked 83-88 mph with good arm-side run and sink, and he mixed a 72 mph curveball with solid depth and quality spin. Shows big arm talent with more upside as he continues to add strength. Primary catcher on defense, showed quick clean transfers and strong throws on a line to second base. Recorded a 1.83 pop time with throws up to 82 mph and carry. Right-handed hitter with a medium base and high hand set. Shows tons of hand speed, strength and impact when on time. Ball comes off well to all fields with power potential. Selected to play in the 2026 Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.
