2026 PG Sunshine Southeast Showcase (National Showcases Qualifier)
Colton Cubbage is a 2028 1B/RHP/UT with a 6-2 207 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends IMG Academy. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high back elbow load and short stride into contact, simple and repeatable mechanics, has good bat speed and creates some strength and carry off the barrel, mostly middle of the field contact, more power to come. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has polished footwork around the bag and a feel for the position, makes accurate throws with plenty of arm strength for first base. Also took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high hand set start and short leg raise, compact arm action to a high 3/4's arm slot, good lower half drive to the plate. Fastball topped out at 81 mph and got on hitter's quickly. Also mixed in a fading change up and short curveball. Good student. Named to the PG Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
