Ike Cobb is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Lawrence, KS who attends Lawrence. Large frame with strong, physical build. Righthanded pitcher, shorter slightly closed stride downhill, moderate effort through release, could get into lower half more, plunges to initiate arm stroke, high 3/4 slot with lower release height, fastball worked 82-84 mph, pounded the zone with fastball to both edges, good feel for slider with solid tilt, holds fastball tunnel well, quality upside on the mound. Very good student, named to 2021 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Committed to Kansas.
