Crew Elrod is a 2029 C/1B with a 6-3 235 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends IMG Academy. Extra big and physical build, pretty mature physically. Left handed hitter, sets up in a high hand stance with a step back load, easy bat speed with a pull and lift approach, ball comes off the barrel load and creates easy carry, strength really plays in his swing. 7.88 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a side saddle stance with high hips, stayed on top of the ball in release and made accurate throws, repeated his actions well. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
