Tyler Komorner is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Apex Friendship. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, simple and repeatable mechanics, medium arm takeaway with a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his release slot and tunnels his pitches well. Slider is his go to pitch and he uses it often and in all counts, has big sweeping action and throws it for strikes. Fastball sat in the mid-80's, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Developing a change up with some life would be a key to his continuing to improve, especially with a starter profile. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
