Sam Schwamb is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-1 201 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Catawba Ridge. Strong athletic build. Very good runner for a catcher, 6.67 in the sixty. Sets up one knee down behind the plate, gains ground throwing, compact exchange with a short arm action, plenty of raw arm strength, can maintain better direction and more compact lower half actions in his throwing. Right handed hitter, sets up in a wide straight stance with a hanging lift and replace leg raise load, upper body rotational swing, line drive swing plane with an inside hand path, has some power in his swing he hasn't tapped into yet. Good athlete who should keep improving in all areas. Good student.
