Gavin Sollenberger is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B, MIF, OF with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walker. Ran a 7.18 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a long lean frame. He showed stiff hands on the infield with a decent arm and accurate throws across the diamond with a quick release. On the mound he starts with a side step from the windup with a belt high leg lift and upper body tuck at the balance point, the arm action is full working to a three-quarters release with a fastball that sat 72-74 mph. From the stretch he was sucessful working with a slide step finding the zone bit could still get more drive out of his lowe half. Working gap to gap at the plate he showed a line drive approach from the right side of the plate with an open stance to start. Good student.
