Seth Petrashune is a 2025 SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Saranac, NY who attends Saranac. Petrashune works from a medium build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. As a primary IF, he showcased the ability to change slots with flashes of range to both sides. He made a smooth play on the run with present athleticism. He consistently produced accurate throws across the diamond with arm strength continuing to develop, currently touching 73 mph. On the mound, the righty worked from the stretch and released from a 3/4 slot to constantly pound the zone and sequence a three-pitch arsenal effectively. He flipped in a solid KN for his age as well as a breaker with refining spin profile. Topped out at 72 mph, 1917 rpm. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open base with a high compact hand set and simple leg lift trigger to produce impact to the middle of the field. Contact tool is evident with power becoming more prominent in the future. Posted an exit velo of 78 mph. Ran a 7.12 sixty yard dash. Good student.
