Harrison Guthrie is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Home School. Large frame with strong, still-projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.72 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, wraps wrist through offline arm stroke, short closed crossfire stride downhill, creates angle from three quarters slot, fastball worked 78-81 mph with good sink at times, flashed curveball with some depth when on top, did a good job of competing in the zone. Hits from tall stance with flexed knees, leg lift trigger, rotational in torso, grooved path through the zone. Worked out in the outfield, bends at waist and fields stationary, gets momentum moving and shows solid footwork, glove works well, compact arm stroke with throws clocked up to 79 mph. Good student.
