Connor Carson is a 2020 RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley West. Mature low waisted build with good present strength. Multi-piece delivery that he repeats well, stays directional to the plate with drop and drive mechanics, 3/4's arm slot, works very quickly and is aggressive on the mound in all respects. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, works low in the zone and rarely even locates a fastball at the waist, works to spots with his fastball with nice running action. Quality change up with similar action to his fastball, tunnels it well. Locates slider well but can further develop the power and spin tightness. Polished pitcher who executes his plan very consistently and attacks hitters with three pitches for strikes. Outstanding student. Named to the National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
