Charlie Buckles is a 2025 1B/OF with a 6-6 220 lb. frame from Bethesda, MD who attends Walt Whitman HS. Recorded a 7.11 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary first baseman who throws from a lower slot with good accuracy. Arm strength up to 87 mph with good carry out of the hand and clean glove work at the position. Arm strength plays well from secondary position of the outfield. Left-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Obvious strength to the stroke with good loft to the swing plane. Big pull side power potential and the power upside here is massive. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Florida State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
