Randol Lachapel is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-2 176 lb. frame from Falls Church, VA who attends Justice. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well to the ball and shows athleticism, tends to stay high fielding but has soft hands and fields it cleanly, clean transfer and release, makes accurate throws with some carry, solid overall infield defensive actions. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow straight stance with a low hand load and a big barrel tilt to start his swing, has lots of moving parts in his swing that leave him inconsistent in his timing, has an uphill swing plane with some bat speed, has power potential if he can simplify his swing mechanics. Very good student. Named to the Coastal Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
