Nick Yarbrough is a 2025 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Harrison. Long and lean athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a gradual shift into contact, starts with his bat on his shoulder, has bat speed and the ability to pull the ball with authority, gets leveraged well at contact, could really blossom as a hitter with additional strength. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, makes accurate throws and lowers his arm slot well, plenty athletic enough to be solid defensively. Took a turn on the mound as a lefty thrower, works from the stretch with a low 3/4's arm slot with a multi-part delivery that has some deception. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with plenty of slot induced run and sink. Threw a slurvy curveball as his breaking ball, needs to go with a true slider from that slot. Also developing a change up. Has a chance on the mound with additional strength and velocity. Good student. Named to the Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
