Matt Beaney is a 2025 OF/MIF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Belvidere, NJ who attends Belvidere. Works from a lean frame with room to fill. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball with urgency, has some feel for the position, arm action is a little stiff, delivered fairly accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 69 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a high back elbow and high hand set-up, utilizes a leg lift trigger and level bat path, keeps the weight on the back-side, creates some strength at impact and works the entire field, has a fairly consistent barrel, recorded an exit velocity of 75 mph. Ran a 7.24 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
