Pierce Miller is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Country Day. Recorded a 6.96 second sixty yard dash time. Tall frame with a big build. Primary shortstop with active feet and smoother actions and a good funnel. Good on the slow roller with a strong arm recording throws up to 81. Also threw on the mound. Right-handed pitcher works from the stretch-only from the first base side of the rubber into an around-the-belt leg lift and uses drop-and-drove back leg mechanics into a moderate, in-line stride down the mound. The hands separate into a long takeaway before accelerating through from a high three- quarter arm angle. The fastball ran up to 82 with some life and tailing spin. Paired it with a curveball with more 12-6 shape and some vertical depth. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium base with in-line feet and a high handset with a high back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Creates separation into good bat speed from a direct hand path. Flatter bat plane with some leverage created from the lower half with a pull-side heavy approach. Exciting player with good upside. Good student. Named to the 2026 PG Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect list.
