Ty Holt is a 2027 C/2B/OF with a 6-0 188 lb. frame from Fort Smith, AR who attends Greenwood. Recorded a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium frame. Displayed real catch-and-throw skills behind the plate, getting rid of the ball with a quick transfer and strength behind it. Stayed accurate with throws throughout and gains ground with good direction. Recorded a pop time of 1.90 in workouts. Secondary infielder and showed some bounce moving around with easy range and carry across the diamond. Recorded throws up to 87 MPH in workouts. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Employs a simple and easy load to get the swing going. Quick bat through the zone and repeats the swing well. Clean mechanics overall and produced some line drive screamers during the round. Great student.
