Andrew Thornburg is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Los Osos. Slender athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.63 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a short quick arm action. Hides the ball well throughout the delivery. Repeats the delivery well, which allows him to generate many swing and misses. The fastball sat 75-78 mph with slight arm side run works best when thrown at the bottom of the zone. Also worked out in the outfield, showed some athleticism, moved well laterally, charged the ball aggressively, had goof hands and footwork. Has firm accurate throws, flashed the ability to have carry. Right-handed hitter, has a downward hand path, consistently hit the ball back up the middle. Excellent student.
