Stefano Gonzales is a 2023 RHP/C, 3B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends Mater Dei. He ran a 7.76 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic build. On the mound he has good tempo with some arm speed in the delivery bet a belt high leg lift and slight coil at the balance point. The fastball sat 74-77 mph with a medium arm stroke up to a high three-quarter arm slot creating some cutting action at times, the slider showed shorter bite across the zone in the upper 60' s, while the changeup shows depth with good extension in the low 70's. In the outfield he displayed more some arm strength working aggressive to the baseball and carrying his momentum well with a shuffle into his transfer and finishing all the way through the throw. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base loading the hands deep to create separation with a leg lift trigger, the barrel works quick in and out of the zone to the bottom half of the ball creating some lift with young bat speed.
