Robert McCormick is a 2023 OF/1B, 3B with a 6-2 162 lb. frame from Walnut, CA who attends Walnut. He ran a 7.74 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a projectable frame to add strength to. In the out field he is aggressive to the baseball bending at the waist and receiving the baseball out front, the arm works long through the back and does a nice job getting on top of the baseball with hard low throws on a one hop to the bases with projectable arm strength. At first base he attacks the baseball with firm hands, his double play feeds displayed good footwork with accurate throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and lower hand set, he used the middle to opposite filed with some carry off the barrel showing quickness to the bat path that will develop nicely. Very good student.
