JanCarlos Almenas is a 2025 OF/UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Reborn Christian Academy. Recorded a 6.85 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a lean build. Charges the ball hard in the outfield and showed clean footwork. Fields ball off to left side and uses a long gather. Displayed big arm strength and was consistently accurate and on line with throws. Recorded throws up to 89 mph from the outfield. Am strenth showed up in game, throwing a runner out at second from the left center gap. Starts from a moderately wide base and an even base. Utilizes a deep hand load and showed fast hands. Ball jumped well off the barrel when squared and most contact was to pull side during batting practice. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.
