2020 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Connor Doyle is a 2021 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Coram, NY who attends Longwood. Recorded a 7.67 second sixty-yard dash time. Lean athletic frame with plenty of room to fill out. Primary outfielder who displayed athleticism in his movements and an aggressive approach to the ball in outfield drills. Used short, quick footwork to field out in front, while showing developing arm strength from a lower arm slot. Secondary Left-handed pitcher; Went from the stretch only in this look, creates deception with a cross-fire delivery, displayed command to both sides of the plate with occasional cut to his fastball and mixed in a sweeping slider at 68 mph for swings and misses. Left-handed hitter that starts slightly open in his stance, uses a deep hand load and flashes bat speed through extension. Flashed some inner half quickness to go with occasional pull side pop. Will continue to improve with skill refinement and added strength. Excellent Student.
