Kenneth Aidan Skinner is a 2024 C/RHP/IF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Olympian. Medium compact build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher who showed some quickness in his transition and his footwork, makes accurate throws with some carry, projectable defensive tools as he gets stronger. Also played the infield and showed a second base tools, hands were good at the ball with a quick release on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a crouched spread stance with limited lower half shift or hip action, upper body drive line drive swing, pull to mid field contact, has some strength in his hands. Also pitched, has a long stride down the mound with drop and drive mechanics, long in line arm stroke and a high 3/4's arm slot. Upper 60's fastball topped out at 70, got some sinking action down in the zone. Also threw a slow 11/5 curveball. Excellent student.
