Tyler Lumbao is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends West Torrance. Large build with room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. High leg lift, smooth and easy delivery from the left side. Fastball sits around 74-77 mph. Works with good direction down the hill. Good 1-to-7 curve with solid depth and developing bite. Mixes in a 69 mph change with good sink to the plate. At first base, stays in front of the ball well and is meticulous with his fielding motion. Shows good accuracy on his throws to all bags. At the plate, uses a very narrow and upright stance with a low hanging stride trigger. Higher handset, works down through the zone and has a flat barrel plane.
