Rayner Rafael Castillo is a 2019 RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Mansanillo, DR. Large projectable athletic build, has a strong lower half for his build that he uses well in his mechanics. 14 years old at the time of the showcase. High 3/4's arm slot with good tempo to his delivery, stays on line well and gets extended out front. Mid-80's fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Curveball is a power pitch with tight spin and late downer bite, still learning to tunnel it with his fastball but that will come with time, curveball has a chance to be a plus pitch. Young right hander with strength and the ability to spin the ball and is very projectable physically.
