Jack Gustav is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Huntington, NY who attends Chaminade. Gustav works from a medium build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '26 prospect. Primary RHP, worked from the stretch displaying a full deep arm action and high 3/4 release. Extended down the mound well, ultimately topping out at 77 mph. Repeated the operation effectively and consistently pounded the zone for strikes, flashing a CH with fading action at 1500 rpm. Should develop velocity nicely in the future as physicality builds. From the OF, showcased reliable glove work and overall fluid actions to again touch 77 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a wider even base with a lower hand set, generating line drive impact back up the middle of the field. He displayed a contact oriented approach with further strength/power potential coming in the future. Posted an exit velo of 74 mph. Ran a 7.50 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
