Jack Pezzolo is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Petaluma, CA who attends Cardinal Newman. Medium well filled frame. On the mound, he works with repeatable delivery and releases from a high three-quarters slot. He puts forth a pair of usable offspeed offerings, first being a Curveball with moderate to above average depth. Second, a slider that features sweeping horizontal action. The heater was located well to both side and shows the liveliness to be a challenge pitch early in counts. Defensively, in the outfield he charges hard with intent to get through it. The exchanges are on the slower side but carries the momentum gained nicely into throws that showed quality carry given the conditions. At the plate, he sets up with wide spread base working into a slight leg kick load. Turns the barrel over with frequency. The bat speed is excellent for the age. Lots of feel for the barrel with a lin drive approach to any field. 7.28 60-yard. Outstanding student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
