Noah Knudson is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Basic. Long, lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.51 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with athletic actions throughout the fielding process. Displayed a quick first step, plenty of lateral range to either side and recorded arm strength up to 70 mph across the diamond. Showed the ability to change arm slots when necessary. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with coiled leg lift into balance and medium stride length down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the duration of this outing and topped out at 76 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with feel for spin. Showed the ability to land both a vertical curveball and more horizontal slider for strike, while flashing a faded changeup to complete his mix. Will continue to improve with minor mechanical adjustments and additional velocity. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he showed solid fundamentals and some athleticism throughout the fielding process. Comes and get the baseball with good pace, fields cleanly off his front foot and maintains some momentum into release. Recorded arm strength up to 81 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and negative toe-tap trigger. Whole field approach with slightly elongated swing path and developing feel for the barrel. Some quickness to his hands, creates some separation into launch and flashes some long term power potential. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Versatile, fundamentally sound prospect with tons of physical upside remaining. Excellent Student.
