Brandon Shelhorse is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Fairfax, VA who attends Woodson. Extra-large, physical build with strength present throughout his frame. 8.10-second runner during the sixty. Primary first baseman, fields out in front with a deep funnel. Moved around the ball okay with feel for the position and developing foot speed. Bounced off the bag, up to 76 mph on his throws across the diamond showing some flashes of arm strength. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a wide base and a high-had set. Barrel worked short through the zone, showing the ability to lift with his long levers producing loud impact to the pull side. Natural strength translates well into his swing with present feel for the barrel. Very good student. Named to WWBA Northeast Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
