Gavin Bergeron is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Bearden. Slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with a reverse leg raise into his stride, had good barrel to ball skills and makes consistent line drive contact, stays inside the ball well and hits to all fields. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has balanced athletic actions, moves well laterally and can play on the run, fields the ball cleanly, changes his slots well and makes accurate throws, fundamentally solid all around. Can keep improving as he gains strength and speed. Excellent student.
